2.1. Software Installation

The IDentia software installation packages with an evaluation license are downloadable from http://www.identiainc.com.  Each installation package is a self-executable Java program with a command-line or GUI wizard that will guide you through the installation process.   Please ensure that you have Java (either JDK or JRE) pre-installed on your computer prior to running the installation.   The detailed installation instructions are given in Section 3.2.

Note for Amazon Cloud Users: If you are running an AWS instance of IDentia product, you may skip Section 3.1 and 3.2, and start with Section 3.3 directly.

 

 

2.2. Requirements

 

2.2.1.     Hardware Requirements

IDentia Trusted IdP and Demo RP package requires a disk space of 110 MByte and 1 Gbyte of RAM to operate on a computer or virtual machine with at least a Pentium level CPU of 2 Ghz.
 

2.2.2.     Software Requirements

The IDentia installation requires access to a Java Development Kit (JDK) or Java Runtime Environment (JRE) of version 1.6. You may download the Java software that is appropriate for your operating system from https://java.com. The current release of IDentia has been tested on the following operating systems:

  • Windows 2008 R2
  • Windows 7
  • Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8
  • Linux (Fedora 17, Ubuntu 12.04 , and CentOS 6.0)

 

2.3. Product License

The current release of IDentia software includes an evaluation license. This license grants you with unlimited installations and user access to the installations within your organization for a period up to three (3) months.   Production licenses with different service level agreements are also available. Please contact sales@identiainc.com to obtain information on how to renew the evaluation licenses or obtain a production license.
